Job introduction
This role is responsible for providing support to the As-Built BIM Lead in the coordination, validation and production of the as-built deliverables according to the HS2 As-built Specification. Client Deliverables include 3D as-built model, asset information, survey information and as-built drawings where required.

Role responsibility
- Support the As-Built BIM Lead in the development and implementation of the as-built process according to the Client Requirements;
- Producing As-built models within the Bentley environment, e.g. OpenBuildings Designer, Autodesk Revit, within ProjectWise;
- Utilise as-constructed information (including redline drawings, 2D/3D survey line work, survey point
Cloud, asset information, etc) captured from the site and survey teams to create, validate, verify and update the as-built model and drawings;
- Train, work closely and support the Delivery Unit Team on the mobile data capture platform, in particular the redlining tool;
- Producing As-built BIM drawings within the Bentley environment, e.g.OpenBuildings Designer, Autodesk, Revit, within ProjectWise;
- Creating suited as-built BIM drawings based on asset owner requirements, standards and specifications, e.g Network Rail (NR/L2/INI/EDT/CP0091, BS EN ISO 128-21, ISO 1357-2-2002);
- Work closely with the Technical Interfaces team to engage with third parties and ensure seamless integration of their data and specifications into the as-built BIM drawings production process, fostering effective collaboration and meeting client requirements;
- Utilise as-constructed information (including redline drawings, 2D/3D survey line work, survey point
Cloud, asset information, etc) captured from the site and survey teams to create, validate, verify and update the as-built drawings and models;
- Experience with other 3D modelling software commonly used in the industry, such as Autodesk Revit, to ensure versatility in handling different project requirements.
- Producing the Data Acceptance Certificates, As-built Clash Detection Report and the Model Production Delivery Table for as-built models;
- Production of surface models from topographic and LiDAR survey information to support the delivery teams;
- Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project.
- Collaborate with the Survey, Construction and other delivery teams (including Supply Chain) to ensure awareness of roles and responsibilities of the as-built process (including redline process), providing support where required;
- Work collaboratively with the Asset Information Lead and corresponding Asset Information Coordinator to identify the Asset Information Management requirements as per the As-Built Specification and provide support where required;
- Work collaboratively with GIS team, as per the As-Built Specification and provide support where required;
- Adhere to SCS Modelling and Drawing CAD standards for as-built production;
- Support As-built BIM team with CAD production requirements;
The ideal candidate
- Proven experience of delivering as-built models and drawings using 3D CAD modelling within the Bentley environment, e.g. OpenBuildinsg Designer, ProjectWise, and Autodesk Revit ;
- Solid experience with implementing BS ISO 129-1:2004, BS EN ISO 5455:1995, BS 8541-2:2011, BS 8541-1:2012 in the development and production of as-built deliverables ;
- Experience of 3D and 2D CAD/as-built drawings production on a civil engineering project;
- Solid understanding of BIM principles, including the PAS1192 suite;
- A solid understanding of Common Data Environments and Electronic Document Management Systems under the scope of the Engineering Design as per PAS 1192;
- Experience of utilising point cloud tools within the 3D modelling environment;
- Solid understanding of Engineering Survey principles;
- Relevant professional qualification where applicable;
- Sustained continuing professional development.

The Skanska | Costain | STRABAG (SCS JV) is delivering the HS2 London Tunnels Contract. Scope of works includes twin-bored tunnels (TBM), SCL tunnels, shaft sinking, bridge demolition and reconstruction, services diversions, earthworks and the construction of site compounds.
